Nat Banting is a mathematics teacher in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and a M.Ed. graduate in Secondary Math Education from the University of Alberta. He sits on the executive of the Saskatchewan Mathematics Teachers’ Society and co-edits The Variable, the SMTS periodical.
Nat spends most of his time picking at the seams of mathematics class and shares his teaching practice across the country through various writing projects, speaking opportunities, and social media platforms. The rest of his time is spent playing mini-sticks and reading picture books with his two young children as well as coaching football, playing Spikeball, and cheering for his beloved Toronto Maple Leafs.
